Right to left on impulse?
I don’t know what to call this feature, but it’s been bugging me for quite some time. I don’t know when I got it, why I got it, and if they were ever planning on telling me that I had it. Anyway, I know for sure that I try not to use it - and it’s a pain. It’s the ctrl-shift hotkey.
Apparently it’s not on all computers, atleast not on my girlfreinds narcoleptic one which I’m using right now, but my rather new laptop is infested.
The thing is that when I hit the ctrl-right shift, while focus is on a textbox, the text alignment changes from left-to-right. Then, when hitting ctrl-left shift it returns back to normal. Now, I never need any text to be right aligned. I like it left aligned, justified, or even centered. But never right aligned. So, it made me wonder: “If I never need it, why would someone need a hot key for it?!” Are there people out there that spontaneously on impulse need to change the reading order? Are there so many of them that we need this hot key by default?
You tell me… or please tell me how to turn it of.
