Just out of curiosity, where did you see an offer for free SQL Prompt? I believe V1 was free because it was not up to standard, and we were busy rebuilding it from the ground up for V2! In regard to boosting developer productivity, SQL Prompt is no match to SQL Assistant, not to mention that SQL Prompt is really unusable in large databases and is also limited to SSMS and MS QA and cannot be used with other SQL editors.
